We have been busy in the Moody Cow kitchens, making chutney’s, jam’s and marmalade to accompany our festive menu. In the cellar we are steeping fruit and nuts in finest brandy for our famous homemade Christmas puddings, and the sloe gin, with sloes we foraged in the Wye Valley is maturing nicely.
We will launch our festive menu on Thursday 1st December and we will be illuminating the Moody Cow Christmas tree at 6pm.
We will have the Upton Bishop Carol Singers, warm mince pies, mulled wine and roasted chestnuts foraged from the Forest of Dean.
The Moody Cow Chuck Wagon will be back with some super tasty festive street food and you are welcome to grab and go, or use the tables in the courtyard garden if it is dry.
If you are planning to book a table in one of the dining rooms please don’t leave it until the last minute and if you would like to see what we will be cooking this year the festive menu has it’s very own page.
We are also offering a three course fixed price menu to include a glass of Prosecco for just £35 per person on the 9th, 10th, 16th and 17th. Places are limited, all you need to do is make a note in the comments when you book that you would like to choose the fixed price menu and we will take care of the rest.
We look forward to welcoming you
